HiredIn

I am looking for someone who is willing to give a guy with no previous experience in the IT field a chance at starting a new career. I have been involved in a number of different jobs throughout my life, acquired a lot of transferable skills, but don't know how to go about making a complete career change. I am 36 years old, highly trainable, have a true passion for learning and ready to go! I have a B.S. in Computer Science / Information Technology, but have no real world, hands on IT experience. Where should I start? I have applied for about one hundred jobs in the last month, some requiring Bachelors degree's in my field and some requiring only Associates, and have had no hits at all. I am assuming this is because I have no previous experience. Any help, ideas, job offers and or recommendations will be taken seriously. Thank you for your time and consideration in reading this.

Sincerely,

Ib Contessa

Are you still looking a job to gain experience? Try journeymen, or internship . . . Why hasn't your college offered job placement assistance? Perhapse that could be your GiG?? These 2 companies are nationwide : nisrecruiting@natinstore.com, routeATfedjobs.com Good Luck
